Hello? Anyone out there?

Apparently I can only post here every 6 months. I'm such a slacker. Except that I'm really not, I've just been very busy elsewhere. What have I been doing? Well, thank you! I'm so glad you asked!

- Digital scrapping. I'm in year two of Project 52, where I do one layout per week to recap what's been going on in my life.

- Recovering from eye surgery (gosh, it's been two months already?) I had a cataract removed and a shiny new lens implanted in my bad eye. Now my right eye is my bad eye, and the new bionic one is 20/25 without glasses!

 - Oldest son is engaged, and this union -about which we are very happy!- will bring us two new grandsons who are a delight! Instant family ftw!

- Middle son is no longer in the Marine Corps. He, his wife, and our gorgeous granddaughter moved from NC to GA, close to her family. He is thrilled to be working in a civilian job and not having to carry a sidearm 24/7. We miss them like crazy, but we're going up for a visit the first week in July.

- Did I mention that they are having baby number 2 in August? It's a boy! So yes - more instant family!!!

- Daughter is going to be 16 this summer, and if her missing credits are made up over the summer she will be a Junior in high school this fall. Be still my horrified heart.

- Hubby's health is amazingly good after the Heart Scare of 2010. Of course, I hound him and watch his meds like a drill sergeant.

All in all, life is grand!

PS - my scrap layouts can be found here: Becster's Gallery at Scrap Girls.
