Wordless Wednesday: "There's beauty all around me in every living thing ..."
I just never get tired of seeing them in the trees around our house. When everything else is going wrong, I'm reminded of the miracle of simple beauty.

ch-ch-ch-changes
Goodness, it's been several weeks since I blogged. I tried to, several times, but it was all threatening to come out weepy and morose so I stopped myself and went to play FarmVille instead.
Things are on the upswing here. Our trip to Savannah was amazing in ways I can't even begin to describe, and I think are better left in my heart instead. ♥ We also made it through not only the Palm Sunday cantata, but our Holy Week Drama, and Easter, as well. Double services on both Palm Sunday and Easter, and four performances of the drama. With a funeral and two ten hour drives sandwiched in. Not too shabby. Of course Krispy Kreme had a lot to do with fueling the church stuff. *g*
Thanks to all of you for the supportive comments, both here, on Face Book, Plurk, and in email, it has meant more than you know. And thanks to all the SitS girls for stopping by!
I crashed hard after it was all over and my brain did just a teeny little meltdown, but I suppose it was to be expected. As therapy I've been planting flowers and re-potting some old scraggly plants that were dying a slow death in my kitchen window. New coleus below, in addition to some begonias, salvia, old Christmas cactuseseses (cacti) and something with a red flower that my daddy used to have around a tree when I was growing up.
In other news? I'm gonna be a first-time grandma in October! My Marine Son™ and his wife are expecting their first! Eek!
